Ladders

The vertical fixed fall arrest system is a self-locking device with a rigid guide which constitutes a connection-shock-absorbing device according to the provisions of the EN353 standard.

The system consists of a vertical guide with a stainless steel cable 8 mm in diameter. The upper end of the guide is equipped with a cable clamp while the lower end of the guide is equipped with a tensioner. The end elements are then attached to the ladder by suitable anchoring elements.

Each operator is connected to a shuttle device, which uses an automatic locking system and allows the ascent and descent without having to carry out manual maneuvers. If the worker loses his grip and slips, the device locks immediately stopping the fall. A patented energy absorber reduces dynamic loads at the top anchor point to extremely low limits, allowing two operators to use the system.

Configurations

WITHOUT OUTREACH

Configuration involves installing two brackets: one lower bracket and an upper bracket that replaces the rail arm. The upper bracket is secured to the ladder steps using the supplied components, such as the universal mounting bracket or the Omega bracket. A cable clamp is then installed to ensure proper operation of the system’s steel cable.
