The SDLAM range, is designed, tested and produced for applications on both flat and pitched roofing, of the corrugated, sandwich or bare slab type. The upper fixing is carried out with rivets supplied with the device, already tested on simulated supports in the field.

In addition to saving time when installing the devices, the cost effectiveness of the intervention derives from the possibility to fix them directly on the extrados of the panel without having to perforate and re-waterproof it.

FULLY STAINLESS STEEL LIFELINE
Tests carried out in the field by a third party directly on simulated structures with the minimum thicknesses reported.

Called the lifeline kit because a single code provides what is necessary to form a flexible horizontal line with a single span, except for the cable, to be added with the desired number of metres.

To form multi-span lines, in addition to the necessary cable size, it is essential to add to the order the number of intermediate anchoring devices necessary.

SDLAM END SUPPORTS

The end supports are to be assembled on site and are obtained by assembling the following components present in the lifeline kit:

UPPER DIAGONAL, LOWER DIAGONAL, TIE PLATE, FEMALE EYEBOLT.
There are 2 versions available that differ in the length of the tie plate:
• “short arm” version
• “long arm” version
to cover several corrugation pitches. Please refer to the technical data sheets for the spacing of the slotted holes.

Non-standard order possible for corrugations between 25 cm and 50 cm not adaptable with the versions of tie plate in stock.

FIXING FEET
Interface for fixing, by means of supplied rivets, directly to the extrados of the panel.

ASSEMBLY BOLTS
Necessary to connect the diagonals together with the tie arm and then with the fixing feet.

PATENTED CABLE TENSIONING SYSTEM

ENERGY ABSORBER
Helical in shape with 8 mm coils, it dissipates the stresses induced by the fall of the system user, reducing the impact force on the end anchors.

TENSIONER WITH BUILT-IN CABLE CLAMPING TERMINAL
Model with built-in cable clamping terminal, in light alloy, necessary to obtain a correct adjustment of the cable tension and fix it in the free end. A tensioner is required for each flexible line. It is installed directly between the head of one of the two end supports, i.e. the head eyebolt, and the free end of the cable. Using this model, the cable clamping terminal is not necessary.

RIVETS
18 rivets are required for each fixing plate. Supplied with 20 rivets for each base, for a total of 40 rivets per kit.

ASSEMBLY BOLTS
Necessary to connect the base plate and the connection plate.

SEALS
3 (23×2.5cm) EPDM expanded meshed adhesive that attaches directly on each corrugation to create waterproof protection, also necessary to avoid direct contact between the extrados of the support and the intrados of the fixing base plate.

WARRANTY SEAL
It shows the system number. It guarantees proof that the tensioner has not been used, therefore that the cable has not been uninstalled and reassembled by unauthorised personnel. At each inspection or maintenance operation on the system, its replacement with the registration of the new identification number proves that the check has taken place.

IDENTIFICATION PLATE
Necessary to record inspections or maintenance in permanent systems, any notes and system references.

SDLAM INTERMEDIATE SUPPORTS

STAINLESS STEEL

SDLAMINT intermediate support is not included in SDLAMKIT as it is not always necessary. It will be sufficient to add as many as necessary according to the length of the line.

Composition:

UPPER DIAGONAL, LOWER DIAGONAL, MALE EYEBOLT
The diagonals are to be assembled with each other and with the male eyebolt to obtain support. Adaptable to spacing between the 25 cm and 50 cm corrugation pitches.

FIXING FEET
Interface for fixing, by means of supplied rivets, directly to the extrados of the panel.

ASSEMBLY BOLTS
Necessary to connect the diagonals with the male eyebolt and these with the fixing feet.

RIVETS
9 rivets are needed for each fixing foot. 
Supplied with 10 rivets for each foot, for a total of 40 rivets per kit.

CABLE FOR LINEAR ANCHORING DEVICES

STAINLESS STEEL

AISI 316 Stainless steel cable with 8 mm rated diameter composed of 7 strands each of 7 wires.Supplied with one end already crimped, the other to be tightened during installation by means of the cable tightening terminal incorporated in the tensioner.
Identification and traceability of the product: to show the high quality and seal, the cable has inside a tape marked Sicur Delta; on the crimp made in the workshop are imprinted the registered trademark SD, the lot number of the cable and the dimension.
