Life Lines - STRUCTURAL ANCHORS - TYPE C - Line with steel cable
The ROOF LINE consists of structural anchors, ideal for roofs and work areas both flat and inclined, with the pole-type support installed on the extrados of the supporting structure.
The various shapes of the bases and the different heights of the pole-type supports allow you to choose the most suitable model for the different structures, able to overcome different stratigraphy.
The round shape of the pole facilitates and improves waterproofing systems avoiding sharp edges and corners that are critical detachment points over time.
The Roof line of Sicur Delta consists of several elements whose assembly results in a flexible horizontal line to be anchored to; these elements are:
- Pole-type support elements
- Head Elements
- Line Component Kit TYPE C
- Stainless STEEL cable
Each support element must be assembled with a suitable head element from the SD76 range or with a suitable element from the INDUSTRY range to form the complete support. The tubular is made with a circular section hollow profile whose outer diameter is 76 mm.

FLAT BASE SUPPORT
Pole support element with flat base, to which the head element must be assembled to form the complete support.
Flat base plate with a plan size of 15×25 cm, the tubular is made with a circular section hollow profile (outer diameter 76 mm).
Used for fixing on structures with flat extrados such as reinforced concrete beams and bond beams, wooden beams and steel supports. The base is fixed on the extrados of the structure. Counterplates of different conformation are available, among which there is the identical size to the base both in size, thickness, and perforations.

PITCH BASE POLE
Pole support element with a single 16.7° inclination base, used as a component for type C linear anchoring devices, to which the head element must be assembled to form the complete support.
Base plate with a plan size of 15×25 cm, the tubular is made with a circular hollow section profile (outer diameter 76 mm).
Used for fixing along inclined surfaces, on structures such as reinforced concrete beams and bond beams, wooden beams and steel supports. Possibility of fixing through counterplates of different conformation, among which there is the identical size to the base both in size, thickness, and perforations.

RIDGE BASE POLE
Pole support element with a single 16.7° inclination base, used as a component for type C linear anchoring devices, to which the head element must be assembled to form the complete support.
Base plate with a plan size of 24.5×24.5 cm, the tubular is made with a circular hollow section profile (outer diameter 76 mm).
Used for fixing on structures with flat extrados such as reinforced concrete beams and bond beams, wooden beams and steel supports. It is most commonly used on roofing ridges.

SINGLE HEAD ELEMENT
Consisting of a plate equipped with a central hole for assembly to the pole-type support element, by means of a tightening bolt supplied with the latter.
It is used to form end supports of the TYPE C linear anchoring device (horizontal flexible anchoring line). The perforated end in the front is used for the insertion of the energy absorber and/or tensioner.

DOUBLE HEAD ELEMENT
Consisting of a plate equipped with a central hole for assembly to the pole-type support element, by means of a tightening bolt supplied with the latter.
It is used in 2 cases:
– To form end supports of the TYPE C linear anchoring device, where on the same pole-type element an anchoring line ends and another restarts, being made up by two perforated ends, one in the front and one in the back, for the insertion on one side of the energy absorber and on the other of the tensioner.
-To form end supports of the TYPE C linear anchoring device by its perforated end, while from the other that remains free it is possible to connect directly through EN 362 connector so as to have the function of a TYPE A point anchoring device.

INTERMEDIATE HEAD ELEMENT
Consisting of a double plate with interposed pulleys for the sliding of the cable. In the lower plate there is a central hole for assembly to the pole-type support element, by means of the supplied clamping bolt.
It is used to form intermediate supports of the TYPE C linear anchoring device as it allows the continuous passage of the cable.
With this intermediate head it is possible, in addition to the standard configuration in which the cable runs straight, also to make directional changes of the lifeline since the cable can rotate out of the element looking at the cable layout length.

HORIZONTAL FLEXIBLE LINE COMPONENT KIT TYPE C
Single packaging where the components necessary to form the TYPE C horizontal flexible lifeline are included, in accordance with the reference technical standard as well as laboratory tests.
Composed of:
ENERGY ABSORBER
AISI 302 Stainless steel with a helical shape, it has the function of dissipating the stresses induced by the fall of the user of the system, reducing the impact force on the end anchors. It is installed directly between the head of the support and the cable. It bears Sicur Delta marking on both forks to ensure product traceability.
TENSIONER
Two-welded forks with closed cantilever in AISI 316 stainless steel, necessary to obtain a correct adjustment of the cable tension. It is installed directly between the head of the support and the cable clamping terminal. In both threaded pins there are holes to affix the warranty seal. It bears Sicur Delta marking to guarantee product traceability.
CABLE CLAMPING TERMINAL
With internal ogive to ensure greater tightness than the tensile strength of the cable itself. in AISI 316 stainless steel Since the use of U-clamps is abolished by the product technical standard EN 795:2012, it is a system that increases its tightness with the progressive increase in the traction imposed on the cable. Laboratory tested both on the entire system and in tensile tests with only the cable installed.
WARRANTY SEAL
It shows the system number. It guarantees proof that the tensioner has not been used, therefore that the cable has not been uninstalled and reassembled by unauthorised personnel. At each inspection or maintenance operation on the system, its replacement with the registration of the new identification number proves that the check has taken place.
IDENTIFICATION PLATE
Necessary to record inspections or maintenance in permanent systems, any notes and system references.

CABLE FOR LINEAR ANCHORING DEVICES
AISI 316 Stainless steel cable with 8 mm rated diameter composed of 7 strands each of 7 wires.Supplied with one end already crimped, the other to be tightened during installation by means of the cable tightening terminal incorporated in the tensioner.
Identification and traceability of the product: to show the high quality and seal, the cable has inside a tape marked Sicur Delta; on the crimp made in the workshop are imprinted the registered trademark SD, the lot number of the cable and the dimension.
